The moment we stop learning is the moment we enter premature living death. The death before the final exhale of relief. The death that comes too soon; before we have let go of those last regrets, the shame, and the grief that life has so generously given us.
The death that swollows life whole into its belly and causes you to choke on the way down.
The flower that stops growing doesn’t receive the water it’s given. It rejects the sunlight and turns brown. It denies it’s desire to live.
It shuts itself off to the world around them. The flower isolates itself and slowly reaches toward the agonizing end.
The flower that chooses to grow, that says YES to life…
Takes the water into its roots and allows it to flow through it’s entire being. The leaves spread wide to soak up the sun rays with orgasmic pleasure. They feel the warmth running through their veins, building strength and vitality.
If you are the flower, how do you choose to live? Are you firm in your knowing everything about life that you are content to die?
Or do you remain open to possibilites that there is more here for you to enjoy?
